What is a Social Group?

A social group brings together children who are of similar age and developmental level. They may share similar challenges or disorders and benefit from “Specialty Groups”, or they may be building general social skills that are underdeveloped in one way or another. Either way, the children are able to learn they way they learn best—through play—with the modeling, support and enjoyment of other children and with the leadership of a Licensed Professional Counselor.
