North Shore Pediatric Therapy is the ONLY Reading Center in Illinois that is staffed by Pediatric Neuropsychologists, Licensed Speech &  Language Pathologists, Masters Level Academic Specialists and Developmental Therapists.  Our academic specialists are certified and accredited in the evidence-based Orton-Gillingham method, and our Neuropsychologists are Board Certified to diagnose the root cause of Reading Difficulties such as Dyslexia, ADHD, Language Processing Disorder and other Learning Disabilities. 

Proper Diagnostic Assessment Will Ensure:

1. diagnostic accuracy
2. treatment of co-occuring conditions (i.e. ADHD) 
3. advocacy in school IEP processes
